About
Hi I'm Payton Laughlin, the face behind Orovia Creative.
Why I started this
I didn't build Orovia to grow follower counts or run better ad campaigns. I built it because I wanted my work to be part of something greater than a dashboard of metrics. I’ve always enjoyed helping, so helping people experience real transformation in their own lives through serving my clients is very fulfilling to me.
Why coaches. Why this world specifically.
It’s not every coach. The ones doing the deeper work through “spirituality”, inner transformation, and helping people shift from the inside out. It's a specific world and it takes a specific someone who actually understands that world to market it well. Your average run-of-the-mill marketing agency doesn't speak that language. I do.
Every client I take on is already doing something real. Helping people heal, expand their consciousness, and come home to themselves. My role is ensuring that work reaches the people who are looking for it.
Show up as you, not a character
The biggest mistake I see in this space isn't a lack of effort, it's typically abandonment. People abandon who they actually are to chase a version of themselves they think will sell better through scripts and “formulas” that aren’t aligned. And I get it. You’re trying to build your business through social media, and everyone is telling you to try these 10 “viral hooks”. But scripts and viral formulas exist to sell things that can't sell themselves. That's not the work we do. You can't hook someone into trusting you with their transformation, it’s a connection they have to actually feel that it's real.
We tune inward before we post outward. Structure matters. Curation matters. But the person underneath doesn't change to fit an algorithm. You're not one-dimensional, and your content shouldn't flatten you into someone “easier to sell.”
Some people won't resonate with that and that's fine. It was never about reaching everyone. It's about reaching the right people. It's not about virality. It's about connection.
What I actually get out of this
Revenue is the number that shows up on in the bank account. It's not what keeps me doing this.
What does is knowing that when a client's message finally clicks, it doesn't stop with them, it ripples out to everyone who reads that email, watches that video, or lands on that page at exactly the right moment. Getting to be a small part of someone else's transformation over and over again is the real reward for me.
